All of the information in this report was obtained from State program officials. We visited a total of eight States to obtain information about their nurse aide training programs. The remaining 42 States and the District of Columbia were asked to complete a mail survey. This report covers the following geography: United States, State, MA'S, and large industrial counties and places. Detailed statistics--including inventories, assets, rents, and energy costs--are presented only in statewide totals. Manufacturing totals are presented for every county and for places with significant manufacturing activity.
